Halloween is almost here...and the spooky woods around our house are still missing their owners...
We got a call from Home Depot today saying that the carpet was shipped out on the 20th (Tuesday) but the supplier was not available to verify that information. They will be calling again on Monday, and who knows, maybe the carpet will be here too. We'll be checking tomorrow to see if the installers are being scheduled asap.
We've painted the ceilings and walls in all the bedrooms and living room (places where the carpet will be going), still need to paint dining room and hallways as well. And the bathroom is a whole 'nother project! Just concentrating on areas that need to be ready for carpet... Primed and painted the front door and floor moulding yesterday and today. Josh and Ron put in light fixtures. And Ron laid the tile yesterday, and its ready for grout. Now to focus on priming window trim, bedroom closets, and coat closet--until the carpet is installed.
Then...we can move in!!! Its been a long process! But God is good, and so gracious to us, and has orchestrated all the details perfectly. His timing is right on schedule :D
So maybe the missing homeowners will be handing out candy for Halloween...and for sure eating a Papa Murphy pumpkin pizza! muhahah!

WHAT is a pumpkin pizza? Pumpkin pie on a pizza, or pizza shaped like a pumpkin? Both sound yummy.
I wanna come see the house and eat pumpkin pizza! Don't be surprised if 3 of the cutest Jedi's you've ever seen show up on your doorstep on Halloween! :)
