Currently in our World History we are studying the Renaissance. "Discovering Great Artists" had us on our backs painting like Michaelangelo this week...and doing a great job not getting any paint on the carpet. We did eventually raise the table up with some books which seemed to help.
Wonder if they came up with any nice tatoos?
Only when you paint with your sister...that is, ON your sister.
Looks like fun. I wonder what the final product looks like. This is a PRIME opportunity to put in a shameless plug for the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which has lots of Renaissance art. Here's a link to a list of what you could come see in PERSON, and we ARE members...

They don't let you paint on your backs or anything like that, but you can bring a sketch pad and pencil. Julien and Tristan enjoy that.
What fun! I'm gonna have to give that a try with the kids just because.
