Woke up to an inch of snow on the ground in West Yellowstone, Montana. With the white stuff still coming down when we were ready to go (9am) and no real warm boots or jackets, decided we will make another trip back to Yellowstone for a longer visit some other day. So we didn't get to see Old Faithful.
We headed north to Bozeman--beautiful snowy crags on all sides. We did gas up at the Costco in Billings. There was an awful lot of road construction there, so we weren't impressed. A few rain showers here and there. Still having trouble with our digital camera. It won't turn on, and we've been recharging the batteries all along the way. Will try again tomorrow, but taking a few jiggly pictures with the new cell phone in the meantime. Maybe eventually we can post those, if we have enough electronic gear and cords...
We enjoyed a yummy mexican dinner in Gillette, Wyoming. Very friendly town, and gas prices at $2.57/gallon. Pulled into Sundance, Wyoming, about 8pm. The pool and hot tub were delightful after a long day, even in our nice truck. Another long haul tomorrow...Mt Rushmore in the morning, then on to Omaha, Nebraska.
